What is required for e-Invoice?
In order to start using e-Invoice, it is necessary to obtain some documents and apply with these documents. The most important of these is the application for financial seal from the Public Certification Center (Kamu SM). The documents required for E-Invoice are as follows:
- e-Invoice application form and letter of undertaking
- Commitment of the electronic financial seal certificate holder
- Notarized copy of the Trade Registry Gazette containing the company establishment agreement
- Notarized copy of the signature circular of the company official
- BIS report for those who want to be involved in the application (written application is required when using a private integrator).
For whom is e-Invoice mandatory?
According to the notification published in the Official Gazette, it has become mandatory for taxpayers with sales income of 3 million TL or more for the accounting periods of 2022 and beyond to switch to the e-Invoice program. In other words, if the total turnover of your business in 2022 is 3 million TL or more, you should start issuing e-invoices.
How does the e-Invoice system work?
